The name reaches back to Archie’s grandfather, affectionately known as “The Bomber,” who always referred to the hill here as “The Knoll.” The nearby family home, Bracknoll, shares the same roots, with “brack” also nodding to the bracken that once covered the hillside surrounding the property.

There’s also a quieter family touch woven into the name Bracknoll itself—the initials of Ben, Rebecca, Archie, and Catherine (Katherine)—making it a lasting symbol of both past and present generations.

For us, The Wee Knoll is about sharing a place that means so much to our family, and creating a space where others can make special memories of their own.
